I asked the mirror for answers...

Some things only hold their shape in pieces — broken apart, yet once whole. Shard of Self carries a single reflection from the Fae Mirrors: a woman caught mid-turn, colour bleeding from her like a memory finding its edges. A reminder to follow your own path, and to value the difference in others.

A back-print piece built for an Australian winter — heavyweight, brushed-soft, and made to be lived in. Cosy enough for the couch, considered enough for the street.

Shard of Self began with a single image: a woman caught mid-turn, looking back as colour breaks from her like watercolour bleeding into water. She is not posing for the mirror. She has already turned from it.
